This cooking station has primary and auxiliary ovens, sitting atop a large storage drawer. The cooktop features a 5 position "Hot" surface indicator light and a surface "On" indicator. This is a true monochromatic black ceramic glass cooking surface and the smooth cooktop heating elements are diverse. The lower-left burner is 6" radiant ribbon element 1200w. To the right of it is a high performance expandable element - two elements in one. A 6"-9" watt surface for large pots, as well as an inner 6" watt small element. These are selectable via a bi-directional infinite switch. A rear 7" diameter element can be selected and used for medium sized traditional pans. The front & bridge elements are operated via a bi-directional infinite switch. The front 7" diameter element can be selected and used for medium sized traditional pans or can be expanded to include the bridge area. By using the front, bridge and rear elements together, you can create an 18" x 7" heated area with watts output. This is perfect for griddles or large oblong pans. The Warm & Serve Zone is ideal for delicate temperature maintenance. It is a low wattage 100 watt/120 volt element designed to keep heated/cooked foods warm until served. It can also be used for very low temperature cooking like melting chocolate. It is operated via a separate infinite switch knob on the backguard. The control panel features an electronic clock and countdown timer and the electronic oven control which is programmable for Farenheit or Celsius temperatures. There is an oven light switch for easy viewing of the oven interior. It has an oven shutoff feature 12 hr with optional override. For the secondary oven a mechanical thermostat has been implemented. All of the surface element controls are the infinite mechanical type. The Warmer Zone control also has an indicator light. The ovens are also quite well rounded. The primary oven features a porcelain broiler pan and grill while the secondary oven carries an aluminum of the same. The smaller, secondary oven, also has bake and broil capabilities.
